About

Roxanne is a proud member of WPJA (only 5 percent of all photographers are accepted into this organization), PPA, and WPPI.

In her own words…

I began shooting weddings in 1994, hard to believe it’s been 17 years!  In 2003 I opened a portrait studio to be able to offer more to my already existing wedding clients and to expand the scope of my passion through maternity, birth, & newborn photography as well as family, high school senior, and many other types of sessions.

Ever since I can remember, I have had a love of photographs.  Taking them, looking at them-both have always fascinated me.

My passion for documenting life was most certainly inherited from my parents, who have my life on everything from slide film to digital and everything in between.

My mother especially made sure that every lost tooth, every “first day of school” (this was a bit embarrassing as a child by the time I hit high school), every birthday, every school play, vacations, interactions with our pets, proms, weddings, pregnancies, and every other moment of our lives-from little everyday things to major moments be forever frozen in time with a photograph.

My dad was more of the artistic one, finding interesting ways to look at something ordinary.  Luckily for me, I got a great combination of the genes!

My first camera was from fisher price, at the age of about 2.  The photo to the left is the original one that my mom found in the attic recently!

I moved on to 110 and 35mm point and shoots.  In high school, I got my first “real” camera as birthday present from my dad.  I have had one in my hand as long as I can remember.

It has been a true joy to be a part of my client’s lives, knowing that I have created a treasure that will never be sold on Ebay, in a garage sale, or donated to Goodwill.   I feel extremely fortunate to be able to do something that I love and preserve memories for people for their lifetimes.  I look forward to working with you and your family soon.~Roxanne
